Starting school can feel like all logistics!

Hey early childhood educators! We've found a super cute book for all your new children starting kindergarten this year ❤️ Frankie is based on a real dog - a "frug" (french bulldog/pug cross) who attends a Queensland kindergarten with his owner, Early Childhood educator Peta Baxter. Peta and her colleague Connie Hemmens wrote the book when they realised how much the children loved to attend kinder when Frank was there. He acts as a type of therapy dog, helping children overcome their separation anxieties, and making kinder/pre school fun.

Stuck inside? We've got the perfect boredom buster! It's been raining heaps here in Brisbane so we whipped out Queen Celine and the accompanying Wordplay from our December membership package. Watch to see how you can make the most of the book and resources, how our speech pathology tips will benefit you and your child and just how much amazing vocabulary and language you can model when you join in and play!
